Tutong – In Conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 63th birthday celebrations, discussions and planning for the Tutong District’s series of activities were conducted at a meeting yesterday. Members of the committee presented a briefing regarding various matters related to the celebration held at Dewan Utama, Tutong District Community Hall Complex.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohd Yusof, who is also the Chairman of His Majesty’s 63′ birthday celebrations was present at the meeting.
Also present at the meeting were Pehin Orang Kaya Dewa Pahlawan Dato Paduka Awang Haji Dani bin Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Dato Paduka Awang Serbini bin Haji Ali, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Awang Haji Mohd ‘Abdoh bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abd Salam, Deputy Permanent Secretary of HomeAffairs; as well as other members of the committee.
As the chairman of the committee, the Minister of Home Affairs conducted the meeting to monitor and receive feedback on areas of recent developments that has been and are being planned by the district’s celebration committee.
