THE Brunei-Muara District Office is organising a ten-pin team-bowling tournament for Brunei-Muara in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan’s 63rd birthday celebrations.
The tournament will be held on July 19 at the Utama Bowling Centre where the Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council will be hosting this year’s tournament.
Entry forms for the tournament can be obtained at the Utama Bowling Centre in Jalan Tutong and the closing date for entries is June 30.
The prize giving ceremony for the tournament will be held on Saturday evening, July 25, at the Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong.
The champion team for the tournament will walk away with a challenge trophy, a $1,000 cash prize as well as individual trophies. The gifts are sponsored by the Minister of Home Affairs, Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Awang Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Hj Mohd Yusof.
The second place team receive a trophy, a $500 cash prize and individual trophies also while the third place team will be awarded a trophy, a $300 cash prize and individual trophies.
Winners for ‘High Game’ and ‘High Series’ will also be walking away with a cash prize of $100 each (for male and female).
The ten-pin bowling tournament is an annual project of the Brunei Muara District High Committee organised by the Brunei-Muara District Office and hosted by the Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council.
