SOME 100 people comprising Youth Committee Members and Mosque Committee of Kampung Perpindahan Mata-Mata Gadong took part for a mosque “Gotong —Royong” and cleaning campaign held in conjunction with the second-term school holiday.
The organiser said the programme aimed to expose youths and and the mosque committee to enhance cooperation and responsibility towards maintaining
cleanliness and beauty among village communities and its surrounding areas. It is also hoped that the fostering of closer relationships among the villagers will also be strengthened.
The programme is part of the Kg Perpindahan Mata-Mata Gadong Mosque Committee and the Mosque Youth Committee project.
The programme hopes it can instill positive values toward youths and also encourage yet more youths to visit and love the mosque and also to enliven the atmosphere with religious activity.
