FOR nearly six years, the Laksamana College of Business (LCB), a well-established and prestigious college in the capital, has provided quality academic courses ranging from professional to academic qualifications.

Soon the college will be promoting new courses that will be showcased through a series of educational roadshows at The Mall, Gadong later this month and early July, exhibiting its courses to the public on June 27-28 and July 3-4, 17-19, 24-26 respectively.

Following the success of the educational roadshow last February, the college will open another “On the Spot Registration” throughout the roadshows where students are required to bring photocopies of their examination results and any work reference along with two passport-size photos and a photocopy of their identity cards.

With the hopes of attracting the interest of students who have just completed their ’0′ or ‘A’-Levels and are now seeking to enroll in a higher learning institution where British qualifications can be achieved locally with a global perspective at the affordable cost, LCB has opened the registration for its July 2009 intake and this is an opportunity for students to discover a brighter future ahead of them within the country.

Some of the courses have entry requirements that entail a minimum of two credits in two ‘O’Level English medium subjects or one credit in Malay and one credit in any English medium subject.

Students may find the courses being offered at LCB advantageous as it can be used as a bridge to pursue a degree in a top-ranked higher learning institutions such as the United Kingdom’s Northumbria University and University of Wales, while saving on cost and time, as the students study locally first before continuing their studies abroad.

Courses commence in July-September with an entry requirement of two ‘O’-Levels with two credits in English medium subjects or one credit in Malay and one credit in any English medium subjects.

Further enquiries and information regarding LCB or their roadshows can be obtained by contacting the college directly at 2238816 or 2238818.
