AWANG Bahrin Md Noor with a total score of 64 nett captured the overall net ‘winner trophy of the 4th Royal Customs and Excise Department Charity Golf at the Royal Brunei Airline Golf Club yesterday.
In Division A, Col (Rtd) Hj Abd Aziz took first place with 40 points followed by Hj Aziz Kassim (39 points), Murni Hj Ahmad (38 points), Seruji Hj Setia (37 points) and Dulllah Sitai (36 points).
In Division B, Hj Majid Hj Damit came in first place with 41 points followed by Hj Yussop Daud (41 points), Hj Abd Khalid Hj Abd Halim (40points ocb), Hj Bahrin Ismail (40 points) and Hj Osman Duraman (39 points).
Awang Hj Nordin hit a total of 42 points to take first spot in Divison C. Second place went to Pehin Dato Hj Tahir with a score of 40 points followed by Andrew Yong (37 points), Ramzi Harun (36 points ocb) and Hj Md Soelan bin Hj Md Daud (36 points).
In the novelty prizes, the nearest to pin for Hole No 2 went to Hj Osman Duraman, Roselan (Hole No 5), Hj Aziz Kassim (Hole No 12), Seruji Hj Setia (Hole No 14) and Bahrin Md Noor (Hole No 16).
The nearest to the line for Hole No 11 went to Hj Zakaria Md Tarip and the longest drive for Hole No 18 went to Sanjok Moktan.
The guest-of-honour, Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, presented the prizes to the winners.
