TRASH along the roads of Kampong Katok B in the vicinity of Kampong Katok and Kampong Tungku housing area has been left unattended for the past few months or perhaps ignored by relevant authorities, it was observed.
It is understood that residents have discarded the trash deliberately.
Frequent road user Awang Haji Rajali Bakir said the housing area has not been provided with an adequate garbage disposal area.
He hopes that authorities that are responsible will collect the trash and that residents will be more vigilant in keeping the area clean.
The rubbish brings a continuing concern that it may become a breeding place for various diseases. It emits a foul odour during rainfall or when the atmosphere is moist. The health hazard need to dealt with immediately.
