Kampong Mata-Mata yesterday held its third Israk’ and Mi’raj talk at its Religious Hall after the maghrib prayers.
It was presented by an invited speaker from the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ustaz Pg Hj Merali bin Pg Hj Ismail.
The “berzikir” ceremony was followed by the fardhu isya’ prayers in conjunction with the 63rd birthday of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony was held in thanksgiving for having a “people’s monarch” who is a just and wise leader concerned with the welfare of his subjects and country.
More than 80 worshippers attended the ceremony.
