IN CONJUNCTION with the International Youth Day, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) organised an Art Fest to exhibit the students’ creativity. At the event, various exhibitions, demonstrations and performances were showcased.
The Art Fest was participated by the UBD Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE) students, UBD Photography Club, UBD Educational Technology Centre (ETC), UBD Dance Club, Rakis and UBD Gulingtangan club.
UBD’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr Hj Zulkarnain, UBD Faculties, section deans, senior staff, as well as the Student Representative Council were present to witness the event held at the UBD Taman Selera (cafeteria).
During the event, everyone had a good time and enjoyed the poetry and drama performances presented by the UBD Rakis Club while the UBD Dance Culture Club also presented a traditional dance performance.
Cikgu Ali Sabri, an officer from the Student Affairs Section (SAS) said, “The event was conducted to nurture and display the students’ talents and also to promote the club activities to all UBD students, especially the new intakes.”
