“We currently represent approximately 75 institutions across the British Isles, with our focus on the England, Scotland and Wales. Some of our fabulous institutions includes St Andrews University, University of Exeter and University of Bristol,” said Mr Delon Hon, General Manager of the company.
“I am delighted with the support from my British colleagues. This affinns our very strong ties with Great Britain,” he said.
Ten British universities and a British college will be holding interview sessions and briefings to local students over three days around the time of the upcoming clearing fair in the capital. Institutions include the University of East Anglia, University of Essex, University of Hull, Newcastle University, Bangor University, University of Glamorgan and Sutton Coldfield College.
The meetings will be held at JHMM’s head office in Kiulap. “JHMM prides itself with providing prospective students a comfortable location and professional service,” said Mr Hon.
“The interview sessions will be most beneficial for students, enabling them to learn about new courses on offer and get the latest information about course fees, accommodation and so on.
“Students are also able to find up-to-date information on ‘clearing’ and late applications,” he added. “Most
importantly, prospective students are able to interact and speak directly with university staff and academics and obtain first-hand information about their courses on offer.”
For students who are interested in enrolling for the September 2009 intake, it is recommended that they bring along their full academic transcripts and IELTS results for immediate assessment by university staff.
Students who meet the set entry requirements may be given an immediate offer upon submission of a full application.
In addition to the interview sessions, a number of universities will also be holding pre-,departure briefings for students who are preparing to leave for the UK this September and October.
The briefing will cover all the essential information on preparations for arrival to the UK such as accommodation, visas, medicals, logistics, orientation, and practical matters such as what not to pack.
Students are encouraged to contact JHMM via email (office@jameshon.com) to book an appointment for both the interview sessions and pre-departure briefings.
