THE Swiss Hotel Apartment and Tat Place Hotel & Cafe organised a monthly activity to create team building as well as to reward their staff for their hard work throughout the month, according to a Swiss Hotel Apartment press release.

For the month of August, the management has decided to combine community work and fun together.
More than 40 people comprising companies from the private sector in Kuala Belait and Brunei-Muara District participated in the “Water Village Cleaning Campaign” on August 15.

Its Operations Manager, Herman Sulimin, was the organiser for the Belait District whilst the Development Manager of Travelhub Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd, Adam Tan was the organiser for the Brunei-Muara District.
The Swiss Hotel Apartment and Tat Place Hotel & Cafe also received cash and manpower from SKSWOOD Sdn Bhd.

Altogether, 30 garbage bags full of rubbish were collected.

The cleaning campaign was held from 3pm to 5pm and was followed with a tour to the water village and see Proboscis Monkeys. The event ended with a delicious buffet dinner sponsored by The Swiss Hotel Apartment and Tat Place Hotel & Café, held at Hj Tarsat Hj Daud’s house in the water village.

The campaign was aimed at contributing something to the community as well as create an awareness to treasure Brunei’s heritage.
