The current Audi A6 is one of the most distinctive midsize luxury cars in the market. It is available both as sedan and a wagon.

The new A6 wagon, called the Avant, is one of the few midsize luxury wagons in the market, and with a 34-cubic-foot cargo bay behind its rear seat, it makes a practical yet elegant choice for families with a large load or double stroller in tow.

The new A6 executive sedan meanwhile has redefined elegance and with its new striking design elements, it gives the ultimate sporty design and dynamism which sets the standards in the executive class.

The original Audi A6 came to market in 1995 as a lightly revised version of the old Audi 100 sedan and wagon.

With the lightest A6 sedan weighing in at 3,400 pounds, acceleration is modest at best. However, much like newer Audis, this A6 was nicely appointed and offered a choice of front-wheel drive or Quattro all-wheel drive.

TCY Motors currently offers both Sedan and Avant model by a 2.0 TFSI engine which produces 170bhp and 280Nm of torque which is transferred to the wheel through the multitronic gearbox that allows the A6 to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8.2sec and overall fuel consumption of 7.5L/100km and CO2 emissions of 176 g/km.

The dynamic gives the cars a more comfortable ride and with a new sports suspension, it lowers the car by 15mm than the standard suspension thus resulting in a more sporty and more precise steering characteristics but still giving high level comfort.

As mentioned earlier, the front bumper has a redesigned front grille which is possible by the discontinuation of the license plate bar and has a new front fog lights. The LED turn signals are now built in the exterior mirrors compared to the side-mounted turn signals.

Among other features of the new A6 models include the electromechanical parking brake, advanced Audi parking system, new shock absorbers, Xenon lights in LED technology a design feature as headlights with daytime running lights for improved visibility the and plenty more impressive features.

The remarkable Audi A6 has been rewarded Motoring Industry Awards “Executive Station Wagon of 2009″ by Deutsche Handwerks Zeitung and Handwerk Magazine in March 2009 and “Best Car in Upmarket Midsize category” by the Auto Motor Und Sport readers poll in January 2009.

TCY Motors has also announced that they are offering the Audi Avant S-line model, which is the sport version just before the RS line. Equipped with 1.600 litres luggage compartment, BOSE surround sound system and Auto boot lit closing, the characteristics S-line model appeals to your automobile desire.

It is also equipped with a sporty 19-inch wheels and even the steering wheel is wrapped and has the S-line badge. This fully packed ride starts at $83,000.

The sedan is just as comfortable and sporty as the Avant model. This Sedan is equipped with 18-inch wheels but the buyer can go for the 19″ wheel similar to the Avant model.

Since this is not the S-line it doesn’t have the BOSE surround audio and the S-line steering wheel. However the ride comfort and performance are similar and it also costs less at $74,000.
