The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha STKRJ Rimba Mosque Takmir Committee yesterday held a “tahlil” ceremony, recital of the Surah Yassin and Arwah prayers at the Royal Mausoleum at Jln Kubah Makam Diraja, yesterday.
Present as the chief guest at the function was the patron of the RIPAS STKRJ Rimba Mosque, Pg Adenan bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pg Hj Ismail. The ceremony and prayers, in which some 50 people took part, were led by Imam Hj Warith Hj Raini.
According to one of the Imams from the mosque, the ceremony was meant to strengthen relations between the mosque’s takmir committee, the Kg Rimba Village Consultative Council, STKRJ Rimba, and the Kg Rimba Housing Scheme.
The function is held annually by the takmir committee with the aim of further enlivening the holy month of Ramadhan.
