IN JUST four days, Haji Razalizam bin Haji Mahal and his team of trained staff has turned a rundown empty unit into a magnificent restaurant called Safari Bistro.
“We can call this as the Brunei version of Restaurant Makeover,” said Haji azalizam or Chef Izam, the Managing Director of Safari Bistro cum Head Chef.
According to Chef Izam, the final touches to the restaurant were completed just two hours before the soft opening yesterday opened to invited guests and family members.
Located at No 2, Corner Block, Setia Kenangan Complex, Kampong Kiulap (near Darussalam Holdings), the new Bistro serves international cuisines and mediterranean dishes as well as local delicacies.
Members of the public can enjoy special buffet during the Ramadhan season comprising stalls serving ambuyat, soups, dessert and noodles at $17 per adult and $8 per children. A barbeque stall will also be available every Saturday.
Chef Izam said the buffet is only valid until the Grand Opening, which will be expected in October together with the launching of its ala carte menu.
