On Friday and Sunday mornings, traders are seen selling various kinds of flowers, as well as fruit plants such as rambutan, cempedak, durian, mangoes and many others at the Gadong market. Apart from the flowers, topsoil, fertilisers and flowerpots are also available at the market. According to one of the vendors, the crowd coming to the flower market has been bigger than usual. This is because of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and people want to decorate their homes with flowers and plants. The traders hoped more customers would come this Sunday.
