THE spirit of festivity is still very much in the air, with celebrants making open house visits to the homes of friends and loved ones, looking to enhance ties and seek forgiveness from one another.
For several personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department, it was no different, as they yesterday paid a festive house visit to Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohd Yusof, as well as the homes of the deputy minister, permanent secretary and deputy permanent secretary at the Ministry Home Affairs.
The visiting group comprised Fire and Rescue Department Director Yahya bin Haji Abdul Rahman, commanding officers in the district, head of departments and staff from the National Disaster Management Centre.
