BRUNEIANS and officials working in the Philippines are all safe and the embassy in Makati City is not affected at all by tropical storm “Ondoy” (or internationally known as Ketsana), officials from the embassy said when contacted by The Brunei Times yesterday.
“Fortunately we are not experiencing bad flooding here but just heavy storms,” he said, adding that the embassy had been looking after Bruneians in the Philippines.
“Everything is okay,” he assured while mentioning that Royal Brunei Airlines have already resumed their flights for stranded Filipinos who were trying to return to Brunei.
The official added that no Bruneians were stranded. (GDN1)
