A 21 YEAR-OLD alleged to have stolen tyres from a car was yesterday released on a bail of $2,000 or one local surety after he plead not guilty to the charge of theft.
Mohd Zulkarnain bin Abd Manaf denied a charge of stealing two tyres from a car parked at Flat Pembetungan in Jalan Tutong on September 13 at about 11 pm.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Pg Md Khairul Nizam was granted trial dates on February 22, 24, 25 and 27.
Five witnesses will be produced from the prosecution’s side while two witnesses will testify in favour of the defendant.
