The Welfare Fund of STPRI was given a boost after committee members contributed a total of $8,000 during a reunion gathering at Rizqun International Hotel yesterday. The guests of honour of the event were Datin Hjh Edah bte Hj Mohd Noor (photo), the spouse of Brunei’s Minister of Education, and Datin Paduka Afsah, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education. According to Datin Fatimah, the co-chairperson of the event, the committee successfully organised a reunion for students of the class of 1957-1990 at the International Convention Centre in 2007.
