WITH the Hari Raya festive season in its final week, the Jerudong Prison Institute held a Hari Raya Aidilftiri celebration for male inmates.
During the event, the inmates took part in the entertainment through performances such as forming a group to sing and putting on a stand up comedy sketch, which was accompanied by the Prisons Department cultural band.
Senior officers, officers and staff of the Prisons Department were present at the event. The guest of honour at the event was Acting Director of Prisons, Tuan Haji Abd Manan bin Abd Rahman.
The event is one of the annual activities held by the Jerudong Prison Institute and was organised by the prison’s rehabilitation department.
