“100 per-cent of the sales on that Sunday will be donated to the Learning Ladders Society to mark our milestone by sharing our fortune with those in need,” said Cecilia Lee, owner of IA Salon to The Brunei Times.
A transparent donation box will be placed at the salon’s cashier counter. “Any customer who is unable to secure an appointment on that day but desire to support our scheme, may do so by coming forward to drop their donation into the transparent box,” she said.
She said that members of the public are also invited to visit the salon and contribute.
The charity hair service will officially begin with the arrival of ten special children from the Learning Ladders Society with their parents at the IA Salon.
“They will be entertained by a mascot while enjoying a light breakfast,” she said. “The Jungle Gym will also be sponsoring goodies bags and refreshments.”
For a best pose photo taking, Shariff Auto Services Sdn Bhd will be displaying one unit motorbike for display and photo shooting in front of the IA Salon.
Besides that, 50 members from Harley Owners Group Brunei Charter will make a group appearance to give donation and to provide Harley motorbike rides to any donors interested to take the tour around The Mall, Gadong.
