His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, President of Brunei’s National Olympic Council and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Bini Hajah Faezah this morning left for Vietnam for the 3rd 2009 Asian Indoor Games.
Present to bid farewell at the Brunei International Airport, was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah. Also present, was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Doktor Haji Ahmad bin Haji Jumat.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah is scheduled to attend the official opening ceremony of the Asian Indoor Games at the National Stadium in My Dinh Vietnam, on October 30th. His presence will give moral support to Bruneian athletes taking part in the 10-day Asian Indoor Games which ends on November 8th in Hanoi, Vietnam. Brunei is represented by 13 athletes in 3 events – the pencak silat, wushu, billiards and snooker.
