His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, today took part in the preliminary rounds of the Men’s 9-Ball Pool at the 3rd Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam. The match took place in Ho Chi Minh City.
His Royal Highness was welcomed upon arrival at the Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council and Sindhu Pulsirivong – President of the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports. Accompanying His Royal Highness was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi.
In the preliminary match – His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – faced Indonesia’s Number One player, Simanjuntak Muhammad Bewi. The 9-Ball Pool event at the 3rd Asia Indoor Games is participated by 37 players from 20 countries. It’s jointly organised by the Confederation of Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports and Vietnam’s Billiards and Snooker Association.
Last night, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince, consented to witness the preliminary 9-Ball Pool matches at the same venue. His Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi. Some of the other matches played last night, included between Inthavong Phone Pasluth from Laos against Simanjuntak Muhammad Bewi from Indonesia.
