His Royal Highness Prince Haji Abdul Azim this afternoon, consented to officiate the opening of the Serasa Passenger Ferry Terminal that began operations on October 17th.
Welcoming the arrival of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Abdul Azim – was the Minister of Development, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdullah as Acting Minister of Communications. His Royal Highness then consented to sign an official plaque.
The Serasa Passenger Ferry Terminal is a 4 million dollar project under the 8th National Development Plan and began construction in 2006. The terminal is equipped with ticket counters, money changers, shops, prayer rooms and information counter. 8 ferries offer their services between Serasa to Labuan, Kuala Lawas and Sundar.
