The car features one of the first safety breaks dubbed City Safety – a unique one-of-a-kind system that can help reduce the effects of the type of low speed impacts that are regular situations in city traffic and traffic tailbacks.

In basic terms, if the car is about to drive into a vehicle in front and it does not budge, the Volvo XC60 City Safety brake would fully function and the car will brake by itself, ensuring the driver’s safety.

The Instant Traction function shifts power from the front to the rear wheels at lightning speed, for instance, once the car start on slippery or loose surfaces.

The Scandinavian design car comes in two models – D5 and T6 – with the difference of the latter having five cylinders instead of six .

The turbocharged T6 produces 285hp with six speed gear-tronic transmission with sport mode and the turbo-diesel D5 producing 185hp.

Thus, the T6 is the perfect car for sporty driving. Aside from that, it has been programmed to provide the highest possible power with the lowest possible fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
