Radio Televison Brunei are the new champions of the 2009 Tenpin Bowling Tournament, among departments under the Prime Minister’s Office
RTB won the championship after successfully collecting 2-thousand 331 pin falls in the final tonight. The runners-up, the “A” team of the Petroleum Unit managed to collect 2-thousand 270 pin falls. Third place went to the “B” team of the Petroleum Unit by collecting 2-thousand 212 pin falls. Nine departments under the Prime Minister’s Office vied for the top honours in the championship which began since the 14th of November.
The winners received their prizes from the Permanant Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office, Awang Sa Bali bin Abas at the Utama Bowling Centre in the capital. The championship was organised by the Petroleum Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office. Radio Television Brunei will represent the Prime Minister’s office at the 2009 Tenpin Bowling Championships among ministries in conjunction with the Civil Service Day 2009 to be held later.
