OVER 300 Chung Hwa Middle School students yesterday heard an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) talk entitled `Moral Education’ delivered by ACB Chief Special Investigator Wee Ken Teck at the Darussalam Hall.
Held as part of a roadshow, the talk touched on the need for an individual to be honest and sincere, while a video presentation focused on good moral values.
According to ACB Deputy Director cum chief guest Haji Raub bin Haji Mohd Yassin, the roadshow is held
to monitor the effectiveness of Corruption Prevention education being taught particularly at non-government schools.
Corruption Prevention education was started back in 2006 at schools nationwide for students from Primary I up to the secondary level. The roadshow is also to get feedback and the views of teachers teaching the subject.
The day also saw students staging a performance, while the highlights included a quiz, colouring contest and an essay writing contest.
