Some 155 Form five students from Sekolah Menengah Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam (SMJA) completed their Khatam al-Quran at the school hall.
The guest of honour, Awg Hj Muhd Masa Masdi Muhd Sa’idun the Examination Director, Ministry of Education, parents, and officials witnessed the event.
The Khatam al-Quran is an annual event to encourage students the culture of Quran reading.
At the end of the year, students feel relieved after getting their final results, and feel ready to go to the next education level after finishing reading the Quran together.
The guest of honour presented participation certificates and sprinkled the traditional Bunga Telur.
