Starting a small scale chicken meat poultry in 1977 the Soon Lee Sendirian Berhad Company has now expanded to become a very successful entreprise today.

In the 80s the company begin its chicken egg production venture and in 1995 the company expanded its activities with the opening up of chicken hatchery farms in the area.
In 1995 the company improved its chicken poultry system by using the closed enclosure technology. Two years later similar approach was implemented on the chicken egg production sector where three closed enclosure that housed 75 thousand egg-producing chicken. The enclosure is equip with the fully-automatic technology in egg-producing which able to supply up to two million eggs a year. Last year the company recorded a chicken-meat production of nearly 4 thousand metric tons. Currently the company has 23 such enclosures with each has a capacity of between 20 to 40 thousand chicken and this give an average monthly production of between 150 to 200 meat chicken.
Soon Lee Sendirian Berhad was awarded with successful Entrepreneur Award for 2009 and this was based on its contribution in the country’s overall production, the industry ventured, production integration and management system
