Negara Brunei Darussalam is rich with its natural resources and has the pontential to become a tourist attraction. One of the places of interest is Tasik Lama. Its strategic location in the capital gives the opportunity for local and foreign visitors to visit the recreational park. For sport activities enthusiasts, they go to the park as early as six in the morning for a stroll. In KNK segment, or Know 0ur Country this week, we take you to Tasik Lama Recreational Park.
The Tasik Lama Recreational Park is also known as Taman Peranginan Tasik Lama. It is situated in Bandar Seri Begawan. The park is equipped with modern infrastructure provided by the government which can be utilized by visitors. Among them is reflexology site. It is made from special stones where stroller can have foot massage after a strenuous walk using the natural resources method. Visitors also can relax by the side of the natural waterfall and enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna. Families also can take their children to the park for a picnic during the week end or during school holiday. While enjoying the enchanting scenery at Tasik Lama, the public are also urged to cooperate with the relevant authorities by maintaining cleanliness and looking after the facilities of the park.
