SOME 40 participants from the Islamic Studies Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs attended a four-day workshop that started on November 30 and ended yesterday held at Civil Service Institute, Rimba Gadong.
The workshop entitled ‘Strategic Planning and Balanced Scorecard’ encouraged its participants to take active participation in conferences, seminars, exhibitions and training programmes.
The participants consist of the deputy director from the department and senior officers including principals from the Arabic schools throughout the country. The workshop was facilitated by Zainal Abidin bin Tingal from Mind Matters Consultant.
Among the objectives of the workshop were to provide a platform to share and exchange ideas on the challenges faced by participants, to provide insights on the application of the strategic planning in the department as well as to provide opportunities for participants to interact in an informal setting and build rapport amongst the participants.
