Brunei Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah will not be a spectator at the 25th SEA Games in Laos this month where he be taking part in the 9-Ball Pool men’s singles and men’s Doubles event. In the men’s Doubles, Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah will pair up with Teo Chee Soon with the event to begin on December 10-12 at the Convention Hall Don Chan Palace Hotel. The individual event will take place on December 15-16.

Billiards/ snooker will be one of the seven events which Brunei will be participating in this SEA Games with the others being karatedo, pencak silat, athletics, sepak takraw, taekwando and wushu.
Brunei Darussalam will have 39 athletes in their contingent. At the last SEA Games in Korat, hosts Thailand won the most gold when they grabbed five medals out of 12 contested.
