MBC TV’s “Queen Seon-deok” has become the year’s most viewed drama, according to TNS Media Korea, an audience rating agency.
“Queen Seonkeok”, which began to air in May, topped the list of this year’s TV dramas with an average audience rating of 35.3 percent.
SBS TV’s “Temptation of Wife”, which had been under fire for being lousy, came in second with 34.6 percent, followed by SBS TV’s “Brilliant Legacy” (“Shining Inheritance”) with 31.9 percent and KBS TV’s “IRIS” with 30 percent, which is now being broadcast amid high popularity.
Despite the bright performance of “Queen Seon-deok”, MBC TV managed to rank only two dramas in the top 10.
