AN AGREEMENT signing ceremony was held recently between the Brunei Industrial Development Authority (BINA) and five companies that have been granted approval to carry out their businesses on BINA’s industrial sites and industrial complex.
Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources was BINA’s Director, Pg Sharifuddin Pg Hj Matali, meanwhile the five companies were represented by their managing directors respectively.
Prior to the handover of the signed documents to each company, Pengiran Sharifuddin, reminded the companies not to sub-let their lot to others. Every company must make sure that they carry out approved activities on the premises. Should they require the addition of new business activities, it is possible to submit their proposal to BINA for further consideration.
Besides maintaining a standard of cleanliness and safety at all times, the companies were also reminded not to get involved in any anti-social activities within their premises.
The event was the fourth of its kind carried out by BINA this year.
As some of BINA’s Industrial lots are almost fully occupied and are still in high demand, effort has been made to meet these demands through the opening of a new Industrial site located at Kg Kuala Lurah. The Lambak Kanan East Industrial Site will also see further upgrades made to its current infrastructure in another attempt to meet growing demands from businesses.
