MORE than 30 SCB staff members took part in a trip yesterday to Ulu Temburong National Park organised by the Standard Chartered Bank Recreational Club (SCBRC), stated a press release.
Staff took a chartered water-taxi (operated by Freme Travel) to Bangar Town through a network of rivers around the back of Brunei Bay and traditional longboats to the Ulu Temburong National Park. Ms Angela Lew, SCBRC’s Chairperson as well as the Head of Legal, Compliance and Assurance, said:
“It is great to be out and about with colleagues participating in activities outside of work. It’s a great way to meet colleagues from other departments and get to know them better, while at the same time enjoying some fun and fresh air.”
The day trip to Temburong was a good opportunity for bank’s staff to participate in fun activities outside of work, while at the same time enjoying the beautiful greenery of Brunei’s natural, untouched rainforests.
