FREE lunch was provided to the public at Mituo Vege Restaurant yesterday afternoon to help raise funds for people in need.
The restaurant, a non-profit business which has been around for the past four years, has been contributing to charity and has raised funds for DANA Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah, Chung Hwa, Smarter Brunei Autism Children Centre, Myanmar Cyclone Victims and many others.
“We are practising the act of giving to promote kindness and sympathy towards people who are in need such as those who require medical support and natural disaster victims”, said Sherly of Mituo Vege.
On December 30, Mituo Vege will be having an “Eat and Pay As You Wish” promotion during which the public is welcome to dine in and pay as much as they wish. The public is also encouraged to make contributions.
