Incessant heavy rains followed by flashfloods and landslides caused general havoc with traffic snarls and rising waters rendering several roads impassable in the country yesterday.

The Brunei Meteorological Service expects the inclement weather pattern to continue for several more days.
According to sources, the nation is currently experiencing more rain than previous year.
The weather experts also predicted more flashfloods and warned those living in high-risk areas to take necessary precautions.
Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue hotline recorded over 30 emergency cases linked to flooding and landslides until 7pm last night.
