THE second intake of the Boys Wing of 1980 is planning to hold a reunion along with their instructors at the end of this month. This year also marks their 30th anniversary. They started their three-year stint at the Boys Wing of the Royal Brunei Malay Regiment (now called Royal Brunei Armed Forces).
About 30 young men from Form Three were selected from the whole of Brunei’s schools and colleges to be trained in the military-style academic for three tough years. For them, it was the most memorable and longest years that they have ever experienced.
