RABAT, Jan 20 (NNN-MAP) — Morocco has reported a new fatality from the Influenza A (H1N1), bringing the nationwide death toll to 60.
The Health Ministry said here Tuesday that the flu situation in Morocco, however, had been marked by stability in the number of deaths, with a continuous fall in the number of new cases.
The ministry said in a statement that in the last two weeks, the country’s health services had reported 55 new cases of A (H1N1) virus, but no case of death.
In anticipation of the second wave of the pandemic during the northern hemisphere winter, the statement said, health services continued their vaccination campaign, considered a platform to reinforce immunity and protect citizens from the virus. — NNN-MAP
