Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute yesterday received Year 7 registrations for the new year held at the male and female campuses in Jalan Tutong and Ong Sum Ping respectively.
Nineteen male students and 17 female students were accepted this year and moved into their hostels.
The institute previously had two classes each for both male and female intakes last year, but due to a shortage of teachers and to maximise teaching efficiency, only one class each are accepted.
A ceremony to officiate the Year 7 intake will be held on January 23 at the institute’s lecture hall in Jalan Tutong.
