CASABLANCA, Feb 1 (NNN-MAP): Regionization is a new project which heralds a new era in Morocco’s institutional reforms and which will mark the decades to come, said Secretary General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah on Saturday.
Speaking at the opening of a meeting on “Enlarged Regionalization and its socio-economic objectives”, Biadillah said this project reflects the will to change modes of governance based on proximity and on putting the human element at the heart of development strategies.
He recalled that PAM’s agenda is based on these principles, insisting on the importance of the regional approach in the creation and the fair distribution of resources.
He said the enlarged regionalization project requires the full participation experts and specialists in various disciplines as well as politicians in order to propose solutions based on the royal speech namely the attachment to the sacred values, the consecration of the principle of solidarity, harmony and the adoption of a large decentralization.
The meeting tackles a series of topics in the field of regionalization presented by university professors, researchers and businessmen.
