Puppet show treat at Seri Mulia Sarjana International School

Borneo Bulletin Writer Feb 9th, 2010 .

THE kindergarten pupils of Seri Mulia Sarjana International School experienced a visual treat when the ‘Gingerbread Man’ was presented through a puppet show.

The show was aimed at familiarising the children with farm animals, develop visual awareness and attentiveness at an early stage and enhance the children’s creativity and imaginative skills.
The story was given a new twist when two immensely popular cartoon characters, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were included to add more drama to the story.

The two characters served as the narrators of the story.

The pupils squealed and clapped their hands when the two easily identifiable characters emerged.
The pupils paid rapt attention as the story unfolded before them.

The presentation was organised by the Preschool Section headed by Teacher Rhoda assisted by Mary Ann, Lucy, Reena. Technical support was handled by teachers Melvin, Lowie and Joel.

Present during the event was Teacher Chong Wee Meng, the Deputy Principal of the school.
