Three deaths in three days

SEVEN assaults, three deaths, three fraud cases, three cases of giving false statements and an arrest warrant case involving debts were among the cases recorded in the past three days, the police said yesterday.

Other cases reported were an extramarital affairs case involving a local man and a foreign woman, five misuse of drug cases involving five local men and a local woman, three immigration violation cases in which two foreign men and two foreign women were nabbed and a custom case with eight local men apprehended.
The police also recorded 12 theft cases which occurred in Kg Sg Hanching

Kg Pancha Delima, Kg Madang, Kg Sg Tilong, a car park in Kg Kilanas, Kg Setia primary school, Kg Delima Satu, a car park in Kilanas, International Convention Centre in Berakas and Kg Menglait.

Items reported missing included three handphones, a gas cylinder, a DVD player, three laptops, two speaker boxes, two amplifiers, a passport, three handbags, a driving licence, an identity card, a boat engine, jewellery, a projector, a car key and cash amounting to $980.

In terms of accidents, 24 cases were recorded including 15 car crashes and nine self-accidents with Brunei/Muara District recording 19 cases, five in Belait but none in Tutong and Temburong
