A TOTAL of 109 male and female participants of a Dikir Syarafil Anam (Dikir Brunei) workshop received their certificates during the closing ceremony held at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAHS) Mosque in Kg Rimba.
The guest of honour was Pg Adenan bin Pg Seri Indera Pg Hj Ismail, patron of the RIPAHS Mosque The Dikir Syarafil Anam workshop was organised by the takmir committee of the RIPAHS Mosque.
Chairman of the RIPAHS Mosque, Chief Imam Hj Mohd Afdzillah bin Hj Mohd Yussof hoped that the participants gained the right dikir techniques that would improve their dikir presentations in the future.
“Dikir Brunei is our heritage which should be kept alive for the future generation,” he said.
The workshop began in October last year and was facilitated by Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Matnoor.
