The Hot Point Café and Restaurant, which was launched two months ago at the Mall, Gadong, is now fully prepared to serve customers with their western and Asian specialty cuisines. Some of the well-recommended dishes in the café include a Singaporean dish called otak-otak as well as lamb shank, laksa, fried rice and plenty more.

The restaurant managing director, David Wong, who also owns Sing U Me Restaurant and Trader’s Inn Café and Restaurant said, “We serve top quality food at affordable prices for customers of all ages”.
Customers also have access to the internet via a Wifi connection allowing them to surf the internet whilst enjoying their meal with family and friends.” He also said that the restaurant is scheduled to open another branch in Sengkurong after the Chinese New Year.
The executive chef, Danny Sim said, “90 per cent of the dishes served here are home made and are cooked with fresh ingredients. We will continue to add yet more dishes to the menu as we hope to provide out customers with a multitude of choices to satisfy their taste-buds from western to Thai and Japanese dishes. We also cater to health-conscious customers by using olive oil and reducing salt intake in our cooking.”
The restaurant will be offering a promotion for the upcoming Valentine’s Day, with oxtail stew for $18.50 and chicken a’la orange for $12.50. Each dish is served with complimentary cocktails and roses for the ladies.
