THE InfoDay @ ITB, an annual event that aims to open its doors to the public, will be held on Feb 13 this year from 8am to 4pm. Among its objectives are:
- To promote and market ITB as a university in ti r une i that offers industry-recognised quality academic programmes in Engineering, Business and ICT.
- To inform the public on a range of academic programmes that ITB offers and what their admission requirement is prior to the next academic session’s commencement.
- To attract potential students into ITB programmes at all levels by highlighting their details via close consultations between ITB academics and the public.
- To enable the public and prospective students to view closely and learn ITB teaching as well as learning `hand-on’ pedagogies via a guided tour of their laboratories and campus.
- To showcase ITB students’ projects and organise final-year students’ project presentations to enable the public as well as prospective students to view and witness what it like is to be an `ITBian’.
- To highlight the elements of student’s common skills development and how they explore their talents through participation in a variety of co-curricular activities organised during the course of their studies, while HECAS online registration and inquiry services are also provided.
