SEVERAL frustrated Internet users have lost their patience and expressed their dissatisfaction over the unavailability of Internet connection since Wednesday morning with most of the complaints coming from those in the bustling Gadong commercial areas.
“If it is intermittent loss in connectivity, not fast or unstable, it can be tolerated, but it has been going on for two days,” lamented one user whose work relies on the Internet.
It was learnt that a hotel in Gadong also faced a similar problem since Wednesday and some guests even asked for a refund for their Internet charges.
At press time yesterday, the authorities said they were fixing the problem and sources added the problem was due to the reconfiguration of the Gadong exchange where they are replacing the port.
Asked if other areas were affected such as Kiarong, the authorities urged the complainants to lodge a complaint with their customer care hotline as they might have a different set of problem.
Inquiries made to their customer care line revealed that the complainants need to give their e-speed account number for the TelBru technicians to rectify the problem.
