RAMALLAH, Feb 14 (NNN-KUNA) — Israeli forces beefed up security at military checkpoints around the West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Nablus on Sunday.
Witnesses said that Israeli forces closed down the checkpoint between Ramallah and Nablus, preventing Palestinians from crossing over to go to work.
Palestinians’ IDs are being scrutinized and cars parked at the checkpoint are being searched, they added.
As for the checkpoint separating Bethlehem from the West Bank, this too was closed early this morning, disrupting traffic. ? NNN-KUNA
