MINISTER of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Hj Mohd Yusof, in his capacity as Deputy Chairperson of the National Disaster Management Centre yesterday attended, yesterday attended thanksgiving prayers at the surau of the Fire and Rescue Department Office.

Held in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince’s 36th birthday celebration, the event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Dewa Pahlawan Dato Paduka Awang Haji Dani bin Hj Ibrahim, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretary, and National Disaster Management Centre Director Yahya bin Abd Rahman.

The ceremony began with mass Fardu Maghrib prayers and was followed by Sunat Hajat prayers and a surah yassin recital. – James Kon
