RAMALLAH, Feb 21 (NNN-KUNA) — Israeli forces has evacuated Al-Majnouna camp near Al-Khaleel south of the West Bank, but set up another training camp near the area, said Palestinian sources on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops arrested two Palestinians who attempted to enter the camp after it was evacuated and took them to an unknown destination, sources added.
Also, Israeli troops closed a military checkpoint near the city of Tulkarem in northern parts of the West Bank and subjected Palestinians to a thorough search without allowing them to pass through.
Hundreds of Palestinians, including students, were stranded due to the closure of the checkpoint, said eyewitnesses.
To the north of the West Bank, Israeli forces rampaged several areas in the city of Nablus and conducted house-to-house searches, but no arrests were made. — NNN-KUNA
