RIYADH, Feb 21 (NNN-KUNA) — The third meeting of the financial and technical committee assigned to study details of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) railway project kicked off here on Friday.
The meeting will touch on preparation of the project’s blueprints and the establishment of a railway authority to supervise the project’s plans and timeline, a statement issued by GCC’s General Secretariat said.
It is expected that companies will start to tender bids in 2011, and the company that wins the bid is to complete its studies within 18 months of assignment. — NNN-KUNA![]()
